I think that this has got something to do with niche marketing to provide a more secure hotel rooms for female travellers. Which is good in a way for those who are travelling strictly for business.

What are some of the things in " a female friendly bedroom"?
Sounds interesting although I don't see what we need in a hotel that's not in already ( I mean we need clean bed and sheets, and a clean bathroom...wat else?)
I wasn't aware that hotel rooms were especially accomodating to men only...

Having two way mirrors and hidden cameras in every room in a hotel can work out very expensive, keeping women on one floor means they only need to equip one floor and so cut costs

interesting, but not very economical in all regions... maybe in just highly populated areas.

I do not see any value in limiting a customer base, by allowing only one sex to reside in the rooms available.
