Life has been very difficult with him. It was against my parents decision. I eloped n married. He never worked for me n my daughter n there was lot of harassment. Before marriage he would said he was rich n had business so I thought that he is in a position to feed me n take care of me n because of that my family will respect him n accept later. but within an hour after my marriage with him he confessed that he had nothing n lied to me but promised to earn. but the first 2 years of marriage just said that he is not ready to work n feels lazy to do so. I always tried to be friendly and explained how important it is to earn. He always paid a deaf ear n always lied to his parents about me saying that I always persuade him to leave his parents n lets hav an individual family which i never did. I overheard him one day n wen questioned n said that if he did like this he ll hav his parents confidence over him n their sympathy. I was shocked n told it was very unfair. Later my troubles started

Mother -in-law started harassing for money. She either said to bring it from my dad or earn. After 3 years of marriage I was pregnant n mother in law tried to giv tablets for natural abortion which I never knew. No parents support. Finally she forced me to work. I had to work to feed the kid. Kid missed me badly. I used get at 5 in the morning do all days cooking n cleaning n leave to office n come back home to see proper care n food for my daughter. I got to sleep only 3 or less hours to sleep for 4 years in life. My daughter slept in the morning woke up all night to spend her time with me. Now she is mentally disturbed. My harassment for continued. Now in UK. Problems r the same. Husband works but not responsible n never ever plans or saves for us. I earn more n save more n plan a lot for my daughter. He is dependent on my visa. He never supported me in life. Neither in job or about the kid.

If you have UK nationality/Permanent Resident only then you can apply for a divorce here in UK. If you are on some kind of Visa then you'll have to settle the matter in the country of your nationality.

Ask yourself if you have tried the best you can to resolve this matter. If your heart says no, then try it again who knows it might work. But if your heart says it's not worth a try then leave the man with out wasting anymore time and move on in life with your kid. Time is the best healer. Hope everything goes well for you.

Personally I adore Indian origin women, and I am English. Racial abuse is illegal as well as horrible. You don't say where the abuse occurs, you need to confide in someone you trust and seek help to avoid this terrible behaviour. If possible you should complain to the police, racial abuse is a very serious crime in the UK!
