I will use hot rollers sometimes. Just take them out and run my fingers through. I always get compliments. Or I have started to do the "new" pony tail. Take a small section on the top of your head right at your forehead and pin it back so that you have a little height. Then take the rest of your hair up into a pony tail. It's kinda trendy. I have also started to ware it in a side ponytail. I gather all my hair over to one side, towards the back of my head and behind my ear. Then I sweep the tail onto my shoulder. Big dangle earrings helps with this style. I have also gone back to braids. Make them a little messy with some pieces falling around your face. I left work the other night and meet my sis for a game of pool, the bartender made a comment about my braids. He thought they were cute. I also have found that some hair accessories have helped with the long hair syndrome. I use chopsticks sometimes and for fun have bought a big red rose to put in my hair sometimes. Makes me feel pretty. Good luck.

Monday: Polished Volume
Wake up. Have coffee. Wake up some more. Then get a full start with a volumizing shampoo and conditioner, followed by mousse.
Our Pick: Matrix Amplify Foam Volumizer (8.5 ounces, $11, Matrix for salons that carry it); try a smoothing crème if your hair is coarse or curly. Towel-dry and section off hair. Blow-dry using a 2-inch barrel brush: Start midshaft, wrap the ends around it, roll up, and hold steady while drying. For lift at the crown, pull a section from the center, wind the brush up, and blow at the roots. Flip your head over, gently finger-comb, and flip back up. Skip the poststyling hair spray so your locks stay as clean as possible for Day 2.
Style Time: 20 minutes
Tuesday: Soft Curls
The alarm sounds. Hit the snooze button — three times. Comb, section, and mist with an aerosol hair spray.
Our Pick: Bumble and bumble Classic Hairspray (10 ounces, $15, Bumble and bumble). Using a 1-inch- barrel curling iron, wrap your hair 3 to 4 inches from the root, leaving 1 or 2 inches of ends that are untouched. "The straighter ends give a more natural look and also maximize length," Garrison says. Another option to create this look: Garrison's Candy Wrappers — soft, spongy rollers covered in fabric ($30, Mark Garrison Salon).
Style Time: 15 minutes
Wednesday: Straight & Sleek
Good news: You get to wash your hair. Use straightening shampoo and conditioner.
Our Pick: KMS Flat Out Shampoo (12 ounces, $9, KMS Haircare). Do a fast blow-dry with a large paddle brush, then section by section, straighten your hair with a flat iron. Our pick: H2Pro Ceramic Ion Flat Iron ($60, 877-289-6297). To top off: Apply a spray shine or serum to seal out humidity and add a preppy headband or a bold, colorful scarf.
Style Time: 20 minutes
Thursday: Up and Down
More good news: Tomorrow's Friday. For a half-up-half-down style, do a quick comb-out and tease the hair at the crown a bit. Next, scrape the top and sides of the hair as if you were pulling it into a ponytail, leaving the bottom half down. Secure this section with elastic, then twist into a minibun. Anchor the sides with holding spray or a thin layer of pomade.
Our Pick: Aveda's Brilliant Anti-Humectant Pomade (2.6 ounces, $18, Aveda).
Style Time: 10 minutes
Friday: Wild and Easy
Oh, happy day. Shampoo and condition with your favorite product and follow with a spray gel or crème to enhance natural waves.
Our Pick: L'Oréal Professionnel Textureline Curlmemory Springupstyler (8.4 ounces, $13, L'Oréal Professionnel). Dry with a diffuser and scrunch as you go. For coarser hair, continue until it's 90 percent dry, then twist in sections, and secure with bobby pins. Follow up with another blast from the diffuser. Lightly finger-toss, carve out a side part, and tuck hair behind one ear with a sparkly barrette or clip.
Style Time: 20 minutes
With these hairdos you'll look fabulicious everyday of the week without the hastle of spending a fortune on a salon, or using a cup of mousse a day to get the so-called perfect look. Now you can achieve perfection anytime anywhere with your beautiful hairstyles. Enjoy!
