EH!!! what does it matter either way he's shooting blanks.. He may feel it's more macho to say it is because of a war injury.. I guess you can believe whatever you want.. it's all about love in the end..

This is coming from a guy, not an unfortunate woman who has had to deal with a lying cheating bstrd...

When is comes to vasectomy trust the guy, not the ex. First, the ex can't prove a thing unless she's got the medical bills in front of you (something worth finding out anyway). Second, most men are usually gut-responsive on this one. This means your built-in lie detector can sense the BS right away. If you even mention the word "vasectomy" to a man they recoil. If no recoil on "did you have a v-word honey?" then lie.

First of all I really think that you need to be thinking more about whether or not you want to marry this person if you can't trust what he says as truth. It sounds to me that he is lieing because there really is no reason for his ex-wife and children to lie about that sort of thing. Another question would be why would he lie about something so stupid, if he can't have children anyways, why does it matter how he got that way? It really is hard to say for sure, but just talk to him about it openly and honestly and make sure he knows you won't be mad about the truth, or he may not give it to you. If you aren't ready to communicate openly, honestly, and with trust then you aren't ready to be in a committed relationship.

Check your relationship with his ex-wife and his kids. If they don't like you or are jealous of your relationship with him, then maybe question their motives. If it is strong then ask your fiance why they may be telling you different. If you wanted kids before your relationship started, this may be a problem down the track. If you don't want kids, does it really matter?

I think he just doesn't want anymore kids. So, he's "letting you know" in his own way...by saying he was "injured". I think he may
have had a shrink wrap...so,...what if he did ? That would mean
he has lied to you. Why ? If you want children with him......it isn't
going to happen. Can you live your life with a guy who can't have
kids ? Are you ok with that ?..... Only u can answer that. But he
really needs to come clean. Lying is not acceptable behaviour.
Good Luck.......

Hey I'vd heard that story before...

I've been thru this already..Believe the exwife.
Men hate to admit that anyone was down there messing around with a knife.

If he is lying about this..what else is he lying about, Hummm, I wonder!

By the way..I am the exwife in my own story! He was SNIPPED! and mine was in the navy.

How werid is that!

kim, the only thing i could say is......have a heart to heart talk with his ex wife and ask her what hospital or clinic your fiancee went to to had his vesectomy performed. from that hospital you could request or ask for confirmation if they have they have a record of your fiancee as a patient. if yes, then try to check what is the case why he is admitted. Good luck and be strong.

What is your worry? if you don't want kids there is no difference, if you, vasectomy can be reverse, and you will have kids.
