You can get some raid fogger and fog the house. It's really simple. You just gotta go away for 3 hours ( i just went to the mall), then come back and air everything out for a half hour. Just open the windows. I put one in the hallway and one near the living room and kitchen, and I went a little crazy, I even put one down the stairway. Put, no more spiders, silverfish, roaches, ants....all done away with!

Have you ever heard of Hedge apples? They are a green "fruit" like vegetation about the size of an orange with a hard, shell like covering and grow on a certain tree. If you can find them anywhere spread a few dozen around your home and basement and they will usually rid your house of silverfish and repel mice, too! My grandmother used them and never had silverfish or mice again. I wish I knew where to tell you to find them....maybe a nursery owner could give you more info. I found out the kind of tree they grow on-the Osage Orange tree and are available at many Farmer's Markets.
