Mobil 1 is the recommended oil. The specific viscosity is 0w-40. You are not reading that wrong, thats 0w-40, just in case.

I work on used cars and that is what we use, as per the Mercedes dealership.

any oil can go in
the real problem is what is the best oil for your driving habits
synthetics are always best
next do you drive it hard consider either a 30 w or 15 w 40
if you baby it i still would do 15w30 as i prefer to protect for heat always check the owners manuel use the oil that protece for the highest temp you antisipate before your next chainge i error on the side of caution use the oil that protects for the hogest heat
or ues synthitics as there the best

the only way to tell is consult the owners Manuel or you can call the dealership and ask the service advisor what they recommend
