Method 1:
12x^2 - 25x + 12 = 0
(4x - 3)(3x - 4) = 0
4x-3=0 or 3x-4=0
x = 4/3 or 3/4

Method 2:
Quadratic formula:
a = 12, b = -25, c = 12
x = [-b +/- SqRt(b^2 - 4ac)] / 2a
= [25 +/- SqRt(625 - 576)] / 24
= (25 +/- 7) / 24
x = 32/24 or 18/24
x = 4/3 or 3/4

not accustomed to English mathametical words, yet it is how I sparkling up it: 12x2 + x - 6 =0 D= a million + 288 = 289 (-a million + [sq. root of 289, that's 17] ) / 24 = 2/3 (-a million - [sq. root of 289, that's 17] ) / 24 = -3/4
