I watch Mad Money because it's entertaining, and he seems to know what he's talking about, but nobody's right all the time. Has he cost you big time in your investing?

It's an entertaining show...
but
like any other financial "tout"

Kiplingers, Money, Barrons, WSJ...
all the online sites, newsletters, and "chart" gurus/programs...etc...
the "news" is already old by time it airs, gets printed,or is available online...

the only bankable advice that I take away from his show is the admonition to do my "due diligence"..."homework" on stocks that I am interested in...

there is a slight "cramer" affect with the stocks he touts, as there is after Money, Barrons, Kiplingers ....stocks "highlighted" in the publications....

as with all investments...wait a week or two after the publicity...see what the market thinks of the stock...do your homework....
and watch the show for the literary/historical/movie/tv references

kind of like the old MST2000 show with $$$$

Don't listen to the guy. He's a good salesperson, and he is really good at self-promotion. But, he gives mediocre advice. It is a "hit or miss" with Mr. Cramer.

I watch Mad Money everyday and he has made me alot of money. If anyone has lost money by his advice then they aren't following his advice very well. All of his reccomendations and rules will save you from losing money.
