There are two answers. One is that they don't, it just appears that they do.
Answer number two is that tradition of our culture and our society teach us that men will sow their oats. Put another way, men will seek sex. Society traditionally teaches that women will refrain from sex. Though we know these to be false, the tendency to act like they are true is there.

Woman somehow can forgive through men's sweet talk. The feeling of loosing someone seems more painful to some woman than being cheated on. Alot of woman also blame themselves for their cheating man. They may think they are not good enough for their man. This is so crazy but it's true. Alot of women also feel that since they invest so much time in the relationship than why turn back.

I have no idea. Probably for a lot of reasons.

I think there are lots of women who, for a long time, have very little self-respect (even if they don't know it). With that chipped away, women can use their hearts, not their heads, to fall for a guy harder than he would fall for them. If the guy cheats, she'll be more likely to put up with it.

I honestly tried to resist saying this, but it may be that there are more men who stray than there are women. I honestly don't know if this is true, and I know of several men who never cheated on their wives, but their wives cheated on them. But I do wonder if that could be a factor?

Also, I think women, more than men, fear being alone. Therefore, desperate to have someone, a woman with that mindset would stay with a cheater rather than face the world unattached.

For men they have more of an urge to have sex with as many partners as possible to spread his genes. Woman on the ther hand are more commited to a single partner, but are much more selective about the one they choose, and are more commited.

What that means in this context is that that if a man cheats, it can be more forgivable since its likely just more of a fling or casual sex thing and no love involved.

With a woman, when she cheats it could be much more than just for a one night stand for her to give it up. could be more romance involved and danger to an existing relationship.

I don't know if that's true! Probably more men cheat, but I don't know if percentage-wise women are more likely to forgive.

Because women are insecure. We think...what if i can't find another like him or i don't want to be alone or i can't afford this house by myself, what about the kids.
Men don't seem to think about these things.
