My wife swears that she get water intoxication when she drinks too much water. Google water intoxication and see what comes up.

Unfortunately, drinking too much water a day will result in overhydration. Overhydration is just as bad as dehydration. Overhydration is never a good thing. The results will be truthly fatal from overhydration. I highly caution you not to drink a couple gallons of water in one sitting. When too much water is in one's body, the brain becomes very swollen and it cannot function normally. The salt in one's body will dilute at a very low concentration. One needs to keep the salt in the body at a normal level.

I say that if you feel that you drink too much water and your body states it's enough, then stop drinking water and wait quite a long while (but not too long at a point where it's a couple days waiting time). Eat food that contains some salt like saltine crackers. The salt will keep your salt level in body at a level where it's suppose to be.

Hydration is the way the body is suppose to be.

Overhydration is as bad as dehydration. Keep in mind that overhydration is drinking too much water that is harmful in the body. I highly caution you that overhydration is a very serious damage to the human body. I am dead serious.

I remember for some reason that 5 gallons and you will drown yourself. I have always gone by the rate of 1 ounce per pound of body weight (Dr. Dean Adell). So if you are 128 pounds you would drink 1 gallon of water everyday and that would be through the day not all at one time.

technically you should watch your water intake.. too much can wash away minerals you'd suffer mineral shock, coma, death.

water toxicity danger.
