That's logistically bad. The younger you are statistically speaking the less experience and knowledge you have, so it would actually make more sense to raise the voting age to 25, especially since scientists have shown the human brain isn't fully developed until 25 and can grasp things to their fullest potential until their brain is fully developed.
Based on the maturity of kids under 25 these days I'd rather raise it. I'd rather not trust the target audience for the movie Jackass than trust them to vote.

I would prefer someone who has been out of high school for longer than 6 or 7 years running the country. I feel a youth party would be a bad idea.

We do need a viable third party in US politics, but it needs to aim at a more broad audience than just under 25.

Considering we can't run for president, I dn't know how well that would pan out. Also, being the same age doesn't give us similar beliefs. It'd probably end up being Junior Democrats and Junior Republicans, if anything. : /
