Every day at 4 PM, my boyfriend has me help him get his stuff ready for work. He works until about 4 AM and comes home to sleep until time to get up for work the next day at 4 PM.
His 28 yr old son moved home a month ago and every day he leaves the house like he is going to work at about 2 pm, then after his dad leaves, he comes back home. His son is only working about 2 or 3 days a week. Why is he doing this?
His son sits around and drinks all evening.

he is 28 - he needs to be on his own.
he would be doing more if he was out on his own, he has it nice and easy at your place

what you need to do is explain to your bf son that you are going to tell his father the truth and then confront him in front of bf ...WHATEVER YOU DO .....DO NOT TALK TO BF BEHIND SONS BACK.........GOOD LUCK
