Go talk to your teacher, seriously, it's what they are there for.

Tell them that you are failing and want to raise your grade.

Tips:
1. take good notes during class
2. do all your homework
3. turn in all assignments on time
4. participate in class
5. ask questions when you are stuck
6. see the teacher after school for extra help

Some colleges and universities have free tutoring or math centers. Those are great resources. Also, actually DO THE HOMEWORK! Math takes practice. Do all the problems that you can. Do a little every day. I was a math idiot in high school, now I'm doing so much better than I ever have simply because I work through what I don't understand and practice instead of ignoring it.

if it is that bad, go to a tutoring service or withdraw from the class. I know at my university u get a certain number of withdrawls throughout your attendance @ the school, and if you withdraw within a certain amount of time, not only does it not count toward your GPA, but you can get a partial refund for the class. See if your school offers something like that, and try again at a later semester. I feel your pain. I need math101 to graduate in may and i have failed it once already

If you still have a chance get a tutor, and study hard. If you think u can't make it, withdraw the class so your GPA won't be affected. Don't worry, next semester you can make it better. I failed calc once... I received my BS in Math with a 3.7 GPA. You can make it up.

Ok, so get a tutor, take some deep breaths, and try to understand it as much as you can. If you have questions ask your tutor, and they will help you. They could help you with stress also. Whatever you do, stay calm, listen in class, take good notes, and try your best. Please don't drop out and go to McDonalds because that is the worst possible thing you can do. I hope this helps you and good luck.

If you're in college, and if it's required for your major, either get a tutor (person or book) or consider changing your major.

If you're in high school, consider talking to an academic counselor at your school maybe?

Get a tutor or try staying after class and talking to your teacher about what you can do to pull your grade up.
