E none of the above, it should be D but I think we all know better than that by now, I mean, we have a president that got less votes than the other guy. is it any suprise that his approval rating is in the 30's? the secret service is our government check

OK, kid think about the question. If you impeach a president, who does it? Congress, right! does congress, supreme court and the pres have the same powers? no, right! Can the president veto a law passed by the congress? yes, right! does this protect the constitution and the citizens? yes, right! Then are these considered checks ( or making sure the constitution is not violated) ? yes, right!

Impeachment is a check the Congress has on the other two branches.

Separation of powers is another term for checks.

Veto is a check the Executive has on the Legislature
