I love the show Green Acres and the Theme song Green Acres a popular song and who can forget Arnold the pig.Lisa from New York who is a airhead and Oliver who is her husband who sees people as redneck and unsophisticated.This was a classic show.And I still can remember the words to green acres

The show was OK, what I really love is the theme song. I saw the show on TV a few days ago (hadn't seen it in a good 25 years), and I still know every word of that song. I can SOOO relate to Lisa....
....New York is where I'd rather stay....I get allergic smelling hay....I just adore a penthouse view....Darling I love you but give me Park Avenue

Yes I liked it. It was so stupid it was funny. I liked Ava Gabor who played Lisa. I also like the guys who played Mr. Kimble and Mr. Hainey. Mr. Hainey trying to sell all that stuff to Mr. Douglas, like that house, OMG. Mr. Kimble couldn't grow anything if he tried.

I liked that show when I was a kid and I still like it. Totall silly, but very enjoyable nonetheless.
They had almost countless good comedies back then, modern tv comedy lost it years ago, its no longer funny, with very few exceptions.

I watched re-runs of it in the early 70's before school at my friends house sometimes, and see it occasionally on tvland still. a good old show.

i used to sneak back out of bed as a child and watch the old re-runs of that show on Nick At Night.. i lovved it, the pig ruled!
