We have no IT dept. and no one checks if we are on the internet. I would just like to check my stocks, email, etc in the morning. How can I bypass their block they have put on these websites? Any ideas?

There probably is a way, but that's not why you are being paid. Be glad you have a job.

I'm not sure if I understand your situation correctly; because you say that your Office [?] has blocked your access to Yahoo, Hotmail and other mail sites? While you say that there's no IT Dept? And you want to know how to "unblock" this?

It would seem that your Aministrator has blocked these and only the Administrator can effect any changes there.

If you have the installation disc, then uninstall and reinstall Windows and this time around, assign yourself the Administrative rights. This way, as the Administraotr, you can access whatever you want, while limiting access to other users.

All the best.

Your college is likewise blocking off proxies. this is complication-unfastened prepare. maximum blocking off structures are conscious of proxies and maximum structures admins are clever sufficient to renowned that human beings will attempt to bypass the blocks with proxies. With maximum blocking off or administration structures, the area lists are as much as date daily so whether you probably did come across a proxy that worked on the instant, it would probaby be blocked day after today. Your purely possibility is to ask the college to unblock the area. this isn't likely except you are able to tutor an academic link on your request.

You have no IT Dept?
I guess your company has asked the service provider to block those site then...
Or maybe some guy in your company is incharge of handling the equipment?

Guess, there's no way you can visit the sites.
You can try www.proxify.com though. Not sure it it will work.

I do not think you can bypass the block. Even if you find a way to do this, if you value your job, do not do it. You may find yourself without a job, and it is not worth the risk.

Try going to an online proxy site first, then entering hotmail's link in the proxy site's address box.

Go to google and search for online proxy site. Here's one such list of sites.

Subscribe to GoToMyPC (https://www.gotomypc.com), then you'll be able to access the internet through you home ISP.

If they don't have a sophisticated blocking software, you can probably override their DNS settings by hard-coding an IP address for those websites in your host file.
