I'm talking about "butterflies in the stomach", where your heart starts beating a million miles a minute when that person's around. I know true love lasts forever, but that "in love' feeling does not, I don't think!

Yes, I love my husband very much. We have been married 6 years and are very happy and satisfied. I wouldn't give him up for anything.

I'm talking about like when we first started going together and the minute I would see him I would get excited and my heart would be pounding. Now, that only happens when we've been apart for a while! We've been together 12 years. That "butterflies" feeling only lasts so long, though. 18 months top, imho.

well, I hope mine never ends- I have been married 13 years and was in love with my husband for 3 years before that. We have two children and I still get butterflies and excited when I know he is getting ready to walk in the door from work. We still love to go out on dates and just enjoy each other's company- we love to leave little notes and do special unexpected things for each other. I am sooooo much in love with my husband- he still makes my heart beat like when we were first dating!

I think the in love feeling lasts also. Depends on the people and if they truly love each other. I have been married only a year but been with him 3 and I feel like we just met. True love is so different than lust or just liking someone. I hope you find it.

3 years of dating, 14 years of marriage. 17 years and two great boys latter I am still in love with my wife. When I look at her it's as if I am looking at an Angel. When I hold her in my arms I loose tract of time. My wife after all these years together still is my dreams, my hopes and my desires. She is my reason for life.
