That the Democrats are leading us by a landslide in the polls.
As a fellow Republican.. and mother, I share in your sorrow at this sad turn of events but alas, our hatred, lies, and hypocricy could only get us so far. The suprise that is upon us gives us pause to reflect to determine perhaps if we hated more and more often, perhaps then we would be ahead. But, it's not to be.... sigh.....

Gonna be tough to top Foley. You might have to wait until the next election to surpass that.

Karl Rove will unveil a manacled young College Republican, sloppily disguised as Osama Bin Laden. Then they'll unfurl that infamous MISSION ACCOMLPISHED banner again, though this time Bush will probably leave a few zippers undone, poor twerp.....
And BTW, you neocons gave us Foley...along with the fall elections....on a silver platter. THANKS!

Maybe that their candidate is a person who bleeds red, puts his or her pants on one leg at a time, and does his or her personal business the same way everyone else does it.

They will somehow snatch defeat from the jaws of victory....conservatives need to get our eyes back on the ball and let the libs fall and slobber over themselves with the Foley issue.

"The libs gave us Foley"? No, YOU GAVE YOU FOLEY. All of the neo-con rhetoric bush and his supporters have stated is now showing how much hypocrisy the neo-cons are. bush and the neo-con supporters need to give the Republican party back to the Republicans. At least they had respect for themselves...
