Assume you and I are the same age....

If I traveled the speed of light for 20 years with respect to you, 20 years would not have passed with respect to me

If I was at the event horizon of a super massive black hole for 20 years with respect to you, 20 years would not have passed with respect to me.

As you are obviously aware, time slows with greater acceleration, greater gravitational fields, and speeds approaching those of light.

This phenomenon is often refered to as the "twin paradox" - one twin stays on earth and the other twin speeds off into space, twenty or so years later, the traveling twin returns to find his twin who stayed home is 10 years older than he is.

The time is obviously relative to each twin. For instance, if each twin can perform a task in one hour (earth time), the twin on earth would find that when he has finished his task, his twin traveling in space has not - this is because all processes slow - right down to the molecular and biological levels - which means that the twin traveling in space will experience the same time duration as his earthbound brother - the time may have slowed down, but his perception of time based on what he can accomplish has also slowed down. Hence, 20 years time span is exactly the same for both brothers - relative to each brother in his own time zone - the illusion that his brother has discovered immortality is just that, an illusion based on comparing his time with another time.
In short, one earth year may be only six earth months relative to the space traveler (as measured in earth time), but to the space traveler, slowed by his clock, this six earth months is indeed a year. If he radios his brother from space, his brother would have to tape the call and speed the tape up to understand it. His brother's 10 minute call is 20 minutes long on earth.

This type of paradox calls for at least two, maybe three, aspirins.

We simply do not age differently at different speeds. This is an illusion resulting from the statement that the speed of light is constant with respect to the observer. Each observer sees the other as aging more slowly. As relative speed decreases, the effect of the illusion decreases. The same thing applies to the mass paradox and the length paradox.

Even if you had travelled at the speed of light or speed of whatever, you have still spent 20 years in travelling. So, both of our ages will be same but we are 20 light years away.

Because time ages us. But, if you could travel at the speed of light then time is irrelevent. But in truth, it is only the soul which is capable of light speed. But not the body itself. In essence this is proof that all light is actually a living entity. All of the information in the first wave of light, contains all of the information in the whole wave itself. Therefore knowing the beggining and the end of wavelength in in first initial wave of light. So, before you turn of that switch, it already knows you are going to.

I don't see that there is a solid answer to your questions because time and the speed of light and it's effects and relativity is only theory along with the effects of time and space ,,,,,, The only known factor is that the speed of light is186326 miles per second ,,,,,

in fact, you are able to evaluate time as slightly fabrics which would be manipulated. This fabrics is declared as area-time, and in essence is flat. in accordance to Einstein's concept of relativity, whilst traveling on the fee of light, time will become lots slower, and that vast gravity can warp area time fabrics. So confident, time does shuttle in a diverse way once you're going at diverse speeds. be conscious that the Earth is secure in contrast phenomenon- we've our very own gravitational tension and we don't shuttle on the fee of light. I dont understand the reason of this, yet maximum possibly you will not touch on those subjects till college. As for the black hollow element, the reason back is that vast gravity can 'warp' area-time, in fact making time the two longer or shorter. we gained't probe the black hollow, however the thought is that black wholes are portals into the destiny. you are able to visualize this by making use of imaging a twister, which appears like a cone. on the backside component to a twister the area between the two between the ends shop on getting shorter- so time takes shorter. by making use of the style to't probe a black hollow, as not something can shuttle quicker than mild (relativity concept back), and not something can do this. additionally it could not come decrease back from a black finished- its transported right into a diverse universe. Im sorry I couldnt answer the two considered one of your questions properly (i understand, my answer to the black hollow element dosent particularly be conscious on your question), yet thats the thought.

That's just silly....how does anyone know that the speed of light is constant? From whose point of reference?

relativity is the answer. since motion is relative time too. therefore it is a classical paradox.
