H2 is the most active positive ion , even in its gaseous state it is extreemely active. it will explosively react with every negatively charged element or compound, the result often is called hydrolyzation; h2+ 2cl = 2HCl + heat ,, it burns very hot when catalysed by tungsten and is the cleanest burning torch and smelting instrument.,, it is extreemely important in organic synthesis..
