Depends on what "it" is.
Some things you will lose if you don't use them (somebody mentioned vacation days).
Other things you won't lose just because you don't use them (I still have my old radio from when I was a kid & I haven't used that in many years, but it isn't lost -I know exactly where it is. You don't lose your voice if you don't speak.).

Yes you will indeedey you will lose it if you don't use it but what are you using and what are you talking about losing?

Some things are like riding a bicycle. You may not do it for a long time but once you get back on it, it comes back to you rapidly. And yet other things just slip out of your mind.

It depends what it is, but yes. I learned Spanish, but didn't get to use it much, and now I've lost a lot of it.

I dont think you ever lose it, but its always nice to exercise it when you can.

I really think it depends on what 'it' is...things that a person is passionate about are never lost....just misplaced for a while to be found when least expected :)
