emo tries too hard to be the new goth... just... poppier...
personally, i think it sucks...
i dont understand whats so great about it...
and im tired of people calling emo...'punk'... its nothing like punk... at all...

i know these questions are up alot.. but these days it seems like 'emotional rock' is taking over the world... its hard to hold a conversation without someone bringing up panic at the disco or fallout boy...
fuse even got rid of slave to the metal and uranium.. because all people want to listen to is emo...

I agree. There is nothing great about it...in fact, if you listen to the lyrics of "emo" songs, they are just not so appealing because the (emo)tional lyrics are usually depressing or include words like "knife" "slit throat" or "bleeding heart"...I hate music like that...why not listen to something that makes you happy...?

Its so great because it makes people like you ask the same question a million times & I don't know where your from or whatever but emo is not trying to be the new goth here in my little corner of the world its a totally difftrent thing...and its actually not that great its actually sort of sad once you really get to know the meaning of it..and sorry i didnt mean to be all grr but im sick of seeing and hearing all about why is emo blah blah blah

I don't why people call it punk its so not at all completely not-I have to stress this to the younger kids it not, It just not. Its not goth either, listen to some punk and you can tell the difference. I don't know why it is marketed as such, I personally don't like it-but someone does because it sells.

emo is like ppl who are emotional (which is where they got EMO from) and do stuff like slit their wrists, which is sorta creepy if you ask me but i don't think most ppl who are "emo" actually do those kind of things, at least i hope not. basically ppl who have problems dealing w/ their problems and are in a delicate emotional position. emo doesnot equal punk

reality check: life has always sucked and those pills arent worth s.h.i.T if you dont follow up with a responsible mindset and/or group jogging (just to keep check ur healthy)
