Because our country is no longer free! Liberty meanings freedom from arbitrary or despotic government or control. Why would any governments want to give that up? They want us to believe we need them even if innocent lives are being sacrificied to feed the cause. They want us to fear and be feared and for most part, the media did a great job to propagandized on their behalf.

Conservatives feel that our freedom, and our rights are being threatened by political groups who have no reall allegiance to the United States other than they live here, and enjoy the benefits of living here.
If you want some insight, I believe there is a larger battle of good vs evil. The policial parties Rep. and Dem. are both corrupt.
Governments tend to oppress, and restrict freedoms. We in the United States have an ever growing powerful central Federal Government that is getting more and more corrupt. Some countries are already fully corrupt. Ours is getting there, and conservatives don't like it.
Liberal is actually not a bad thing, same as conservative. When you take it to extremes, or defend or promote a political party by slandering your opponents, distorting the facts, and strong arm tactics, is where it's wrong. We have extremes at both ends, and conservatives use some of the same tactics that Liberals use.
The more this mudslinging goes on, the more the issues become blurred. The news media here tends to dwell on issues that are irrelevant and do little to get to the facts that we need to know. The distortion of the news media is based on selling airtime, laziness of news staff, and political agenda's, or even just some ideology that is based on a false concept.
There is lots of cause for outrage out there. For example, we are simply trying to protect our borders, something that almost every country does, even Mexico. But Mexico is complaining to the U.N. about a proposal in congress to build a fence. That is cause for outrage for conservatives in the United States. It's actually somewhat healthy, because there is a constant barrage of pressure from the extreme left to be politically correct, and many people are sick and tired of it. There are heated issues, because people are frustrated that everywhere they turn it seems like someone is bashing our President, or our country, and we are wondering if the enemy is not within our borders.
So the attempts to protect our borders is deeply rooted in this desire to preserve this nation that seems to be under attack from every country, including from within it's borders. The extreme Left seem to want to radically change from what they believe is a corrupt Government (true), that is stomping on rights (true), but I don't agree with the solutions, and I can't debate, because they are trained to use tactics to intimidate, or make the opponent look ignorant, racist, stupid, or too extreme. This extreme leftist view is becoming more and more mainstream especially with our youth who have undergone three generations of leftist political movements, so even thier granpa was a socialist.
It's difficult to be neutral, or not upset when you see what's going on. I don't think socialism is the answer, I think it's causing most of our problems witht the government.

Its a simple debate over God. Many republicans are traditionalists and believe in God through Christianity as our founding fathers did. This is what America was founded upon. Liberals are trying to change the traditionalist view by disrupting the foundation of America on God. This angers republicans, but I will say, in a nation of free liberties, there can be no foundation on Christianity, and this is why America will not be around during the end of the world. You'll get it one day.

When Journalism turned into an entertainment circus that competes for ratings in place of disseminating proper news....
it created this mess.
Dems and Repubs have more in common with eachother than they think. But if people realized that, and started to get along with eachother... well.... who would care to watch Fox News over MSNBC.... or CNN....
If they all just reported the facts without the inflammatory remarks... you could watch any news program and get the same info.

"bypass"...Hehehe. i think of the radio character became attempting to stir debate, yet his comments have been specious. a million) i'm uncertain what "hobnobbing with elitists" has to do with being a communist. in actuality, communism supposedly abhors elitism and, for the time of the chinese language "purge" elites & intellectuals have been killed or imprisoned. 2) i'm uncertain the place it is been shown Jefferson "distrusted" cities...uncertain the form you should mistrust a city. He did oppose a centralized FEDERAL banking gadget (financiers) yet i'm uncertain he disliked financiers in and of themselves. in actuality, given his propensity to get money to maintain including to Monticello, he appeared to have extremely a courting with financiers. 3) Jefferson looks to have been a deist and did not seem to settle for the mythology of prepared faith, yet he additionally regarded HIS ideals could are starting to be him persecuted in different international places and respected the ideals of others so he extremely did not prefer a state-subsidized church. in spite of if, unlike communists, that did not mean he reported banning faith outright. i wish I got here out of the gate properly adequate in this one :-) playstation .....*blessed_*, wasn't Washington lifeless by using the time Jefferson retired? i'm not saying he would possibly not have been happy in "heaven", i'm in simple terms sayin'....

There's nothing anti-American about believing in individual rights, which is I assume, what you're referring to when you mention liberty. Most liberals are not anti-American. There is however a very vocal minority on the left-wing fringe that does NOT believe in individual rights. They promote group-ism, and are basically Communists. They preach class envy and hatred of anyone who achieves financial success. They attack the founding principals of my nation, calling them obsolete. It is those attacks that make the small left-wing fringe anti-American.

Dude, America is in the middle of a civil war right now. Politics over here are soooooooo out of hand and sooooo many people have their head up their *** it aint even funny, it hurts those of us with a brain when we see it, it literally causes us chronic pain. The right is not fascist, its only ironic that fascists have right tendencies. Saying that the right is fascist is like saying most Muslims are terrorists, but its the other way around, Most terrorists are muslims........ Its the extreme liberals that you need to watch out for. Half of them dont even know why they believe what they believe, a quarter of them only believe it cause its a fad and another quarter is nothing but a bunch of pot smoking hippies left over from the golden age of America, the psychotic 60's. lol

Because liberals have this bad habit of condemning US foreign policy when we fight against those who DON'T believe in liberty, like communists and radical islamists. Anytime some threat to the United States and the rest of the world takes place, their first instinct is to blame America. It goes against everything they claim to stand for, and shows utter hypocrisy.
