Yea, so I have a paper on Animal Farm's theme, I just don't know where to begin. I went to spark notes, but it's so hard to understand, I want some lay-man's terms about the theme. Can anyone help me?

The general story of Animal Farm is about how the animals take over and organize their own government. They all vow to stick together and be equal although they slowly fall into the ways of humans and mistreat each other.

The general theme is the idea of how although we may have the best of intentions, it is human nature to have leaders, followers and those in between. It is a parody of the different classes in society - the government, the working class, the poor etc.

The Theme I used was that of Nicholas and Alexandria, he was the Czar of Russia. Anastasia stuff. This when Lenin and Rasputin came into History. Each animal is a representation of these people involved in Russian History.
Had to verify the date 1918 when they were all shot in the head. So, I started with;
Can this book be a thought on the rise of Communism in Russia? Let's take a walk through the pages and analyze it from the perspective of 1918!
