i am using avg free edition to scan my computer for possible infection of viruses. after sanning, the result displays two yellow orange folders which are not opened and checked. a note is displayed when i right clicked to the folder that the box or folder displays infected files during the test and the path of the two infected folders shows drive A and drive G (my CD drive). perhaps this explains why can't my cd writer write. how can i probably get rid of this? please help me. thanks.

u ask about safe mode when comp startup press f8 until u see safe mode then used avg to del virus a nother way to ck comp do a online free scan of virus cker i use panda

Try booting into Safe Mode and then run AVG to see if it gets rid of the possible virus(es).
