Well, if I speak my mind it tends to get me into trouble because i don't sugar coat things. When I bite my tongue, I get into trouble because I'm not being supportive..."sigh". I guess I have yet to find the best solution.

Depends on the problem. Sometimes it is better to wait. I have to weigh whether or not it is worth it. Try to maintain, and let myself regain perspective. On the occasions when I do decide to speak up, I am better able to handle the confrontation because I have given myself time to understand that while I need to make myself heard, there is a good possibility that the situation will remain unchanged. I am talking aobut problems that involve other people or institutions, such as work... and I am very very good at explaining my point of view. But many times I decide that my peace of mind is of more worth to me than being right is. But, if I have a personal problem, or jsut feeling blue or whatever, I always get it off my chest by talking with a friend.

My dad says 2 things about that
1 count to ten first
2 it better to have people think you a fool, then open your mouth and remove all doubt
i like the godfather movie where the director insulted the GFather's lawyer and the next morning the horses head was in his bed
Me, I'd rather not get all jacked up. I like to think it through to make certain the jobs done right Somewhere in the middle of all this you'll make the right decision Remember once it's out ther you can't take it back.

It depends on the nature of the problem.
There are certain problems that need silent contemplation. Nobody but you can resolve them. There are others which require external help and guidance - at the least moral support. In such cases, speak out to people whose wisdom and judgment you trust.
