We normally use artificial, but I am thinking about getting a real one this year.

We have a fake tree. My cats climb real ones but leave the fake one alone.

I'm not religious, so I don't observe Xmas. The last time I did many years ago, I used an artificial tree.

We have always had real trees. The smell of the trees always makes it feel more like Christmas since living in Florida we never get any snow. Hope you have a Merry Christmas this year.

We always had real trees growing up and I loved them. But now I use artificial. Live tress are too hard to take care of and clean up after, plus my husband says it's wasteful.

Artificial is easier because the bits don't fall off the tree and you have to constantly clean it up.
But when you are finished with the real one you can throw it out and don't have to pack it all up & store it.

i alternate from year to year. The artificial is easier to put up cause the lights are already on it but i love the way the real one makes the house smell all piney.
