Phoenix is an awesome place to visit. It is so beautiful, turn 360 degrees and all you see is the beautiful mountains you can even go to South Mountain and see how easily designed it is. Phoenix is a place where you can never get lost and it is one of the cleanest cities ever. If you are a college student or like the night life there are numerous clubs you can go to and also go to Mill Avenue. If you've ever gone to Bourbon Street, Mill Ave will somewhat put you in mind of that without the jazz bands and the second line, but overall Phoenix is a lovely place to visit.

I live in the Phoenix metro area and I can say there are only a handful of things to do here, that is why I am moving. If you are visiting here are somethings to do:

1. Go Salt River Tubing, you can rent a tube and take a 2-4 hour leisurly ride down the Salt River, there is usally a lot of drinking going on so rent an extra tube to put your cooler in.
2. Go shopping in Tempe at Mill ave. I am sick of this area now because I have worked there for a year now, but to visit I can imagine it would be great, there are some great restaurants down there and shopping.

wow, I actually can't think of much more to do!!! To be honest, you would probably like Tucson or Flagstaff much more....

Definitely worth visiting!!!!!!!!!!!! There are alot of things to do out there!!! Lets start in Downtown Phoenix!! There are several museums to visit and explore!!! The museums are mostly located on Washington Ave/Blvd!!! In North Phoenix is the Phoenix Botanical Gardens and The Phoenix Zoo. Also in North Phoenix is Camelback Mountain where you can hike up the mountain and look out on the Valley and city below!!! Its a wonderful hike!!!

There is alot of great shopping in the Phoenix area!!! You have the Metro Center Mall in North Phoenix which is a large mall!! In Tempe is the Arizona Mills Mall, and the Fiesta Mall in Mesa off the Superstition Freeway @ Alma School Road. Also, down on Mill Ave in Tempe, Arizona are all sorts of shops and restaurants to eat at and that is a great area to walk around in. Up in Scottsdale along Scottsdale Road is alot of neat shops especially through downtown Scottsdale!!! Plus you have the Borgata Shopping Center also in Scottsdale and thats a nice place to shop also.

Right on the border of Phoenix/Tempe is the South Mountain Pointe Resort and up at the top of the hill is the Rustlers Rooste Restaurant!!!!!!!! Please allow me to recommend that you go there for dinner after the sun has gone down. Its at the top of the hill at the resort. When you go into the restaurant you will notice that there is a slide that goes down into the dining room. Go down the slide...it is so much fun!!!!!! Make sure you ask for a window seat because you will want to look out at the city and valley below and its so much prettier at night when you can look out at the lights of the city.

Plus East of the Phoenix area is Apache Junction where there is camping, hiking, and several lakes where you can enjoy all the outdoor activities you wanted!!!!!!!!!!! So, as you can see, there is quite a bit to do in Phoenix!!! Have Fun and let me know what else you find to do.

Arizona is one of the most beautiful states in the US according to Microsoft Encarta for kids, 2006. It describes Arizona having jagged mountains, deep & colorful canyons, evergreen forests & flowering deserts. Its climate attract tourist. Its nickname is the Grand Canyon State. The Grand Canyon was described by the article as a giant gash in the earth's surface. An exciting trip as suggested is a mule ride to the bottom of the canyon.

Phoenix & Tucson are the largest states in Arizona. Did you know that Phoenix is the 6th largest State in terms of population ? According to Wikipedia, it is the hottest city in the US & #2 as the driest city. Tucson was described as center for astronomy & night skies can be viewed by visitors by telescopes at the Kitt Peak National Observatory near Tucson. A wealthy American decided to buy the London Bridge & brought it in Arizona.

What are the activites you can do?
1. mountain hiking ( trail information & maps available, see phoenix.gov)
2. biking
3. visit museums & science center as suggested by Wikipedia
Other activites can be enjoyed because of the nice weather. It is in Arizona that many of the legends of the Wild West are rooted; Tombstone was the site of the gunfight in OK Corral as stated by Countries of the World.

I stay in Arizona. you will desire to pass to Sedona! It has some great scenic drives and hikes. apart from which you are going to locate a great form of latest age stuff -- meditation, Gypsy psychics, tarot card readers, and so on. it truly is asserted that god would have created the Grand Canyon, yet s/he lives in Sedona. actual worth a pass to.
