It depends on the shape of your eye. Never use just one color. always use at least three colors and blend. Under eyebrow use a ivory sheer sheen, in the crease wear a taupe brown , and on the lid, closest to your nose use a lighter color of violet, moss green, gold or silver. On the outer part of the lid use a deeper color of violet, moss green , or brown then smudge. Make sure all is blended well and not too bright. When you are done, take your blush or bronzer and sweep over whole upper eye area. Have fun sweetie!

Take a look at a color wheel, and take a look at your eyes Use the opposite side of the color wheel. If they're blue, wear brown. If your eyes are hazel or green, wear purple. if your eyes are brown, wear blue or green. If you check out the Marykay website, you can actually request someone come to your house and give you a makeover. If you're in Omaha, NE, I'd be happy to do it. marykay.com/tarahschoell

why not go to your local dept store at a quiet time and get your makeup done.. not sure where you live but if you have a Sears, Bay or a MAC etc they will usually do your colours for free or a nominal cost and they will show you what to use and how to use it and they have all colours for all skin types and they can play around with your having to buy before you try i had mine done and im really happy i know what type of products and colours to look for now :)
