every one focuses on the tragedy of columbine but why did the boys do it they themsevles weren't mental they were normal kids what happened why did they want to kill their classmates and then take their own lives

okay they might have been crazy while shotting but they werent crazy before they attacked columbine why what happened to cause this

School shootings are a deadly combination of two highly immoral components of high school: jocks and hippies. If your high school is a successful athetlic powerhouse which allows its athletes to live about the rules, or has a strong contingent of fat slobs with long hair who meet at coffee shops and bash the government, or both, it is at high risk for a school shooting.

TigerMuff--I would be very interested in having watched the day by day family dynamics of each of the shooters. Where was communication in the family? Where was the self-worth? What happened to instilling the value of a life? Communication brings out inward emotions. There had to be anger, resentment, hate, lack of self respect that started as a seed way back when. The seed having taken root had a breeding ground and grew into a tree. I don't believe it started in high school. They had nothing good to live for. If one sees their young person struggling with issues, a parent needs to jump in and find out why and help that young person to find resolution either with long patience and understanding or with a trained counselor. Prayer goes a long way. This is why parents are parents and children are children. Parents spend years of guiding, training and helping their children to go in a "right" way. I think there was something fundamentally wrong. Even one caring parent or friend can change the path of a young person if they come along side and take the "time".

i have seen some of the actual filming of this from the cafeteria cameras..if you looked at it, you would see that these 2 boys were out of their minds. they tormented those kids that they shot. it was pure terrorism..the video that i seen was the most terrible thing i have ever seen in my life.
