definatly covergirl. They have this 2 step system that I wear all the time and it does not come off, not does it flake, peel, or anything like that. In fact, if I fall asleep with it on it is still on in the morning, and not on my pillow. My husband loves it cause he can kiss me without it getting all over him. I believe its called lipfinity, and it comes in a package with the cover stick to keep your lips moisturized and the lip color itself. This stuff truely is the best stuff out there, and all that I will wear!

Depending on your price range, there are several to choose from:

Max Factor- Lipfinity http://www.lipfinity.com/lips/lipsticks/lipfinity.jsp

Revlon - Overtime line http://www.revlon.com/subcategory.asp?categoryid=2&SubCategoryID=4

Maybelline - Forever lipcolor

MAC cosmetics - Pro Longwear Lipcolor

I have not tried this one... but MAC is a very good brand but at a higher end price.

Personally, I prefer the Max Factor brand. The others tend to "roll up" and flake off after about 6 hours. The color you choose will also effect the wearability. Lip colors do not have the staying power the darker (red, maroons, orange based) colors have. The darker colors "stain" your lips to give you some color residue after the actual lipstick is wearing off. JMO.

Hm mm... Maybe you could get some makeup in the Halloween section and that might last longer for your costume party. Sounds fun!

Fill in your entire lip with lipliner, works great.
