The ancient Egyptians were big on it. I saw a photo of a little pottery container some archaelogists found, that had some kind of mascara in it (made of crushed beetles...ew!). Cleopatra is one of the best examples

I don't know. Probably those old men who were in plays. Females weren't allowed to be in plays back in the olden times and the men played women's roles. So I bet they wore makeup. But I guess make up would have been around before then.

My guess would be Cleopatra, she wore the heavy eyeliner...just going according to what I see on pictures of her.

i dont think its possible to find that out.
remember "make up" as been around since ... well a long time ago. Please used fruits and everything to decorate themselves.
