What stand does Kinky take on things? Strayhorn is looking good to me, but I'm keeping my options open. I'm a republican, but I don't want to vote for Perry. Any truthful info would be helpful.

Because Kinky isn't a professional politician - he doesn't owe favors to anyone. Strayhorn, like Perry is a professional politician and before you know it - you have an older, female version of Rick Perry. We don't need that!! Ok, granted Kinky comes off as a little goofy at times, but at least he has the interests of the great state of Texas in mind and not his own personal interests or in giving jobs to professional politicians. In all truthfulness, he's probably too honest to be governor, but he's getting my vote - he doesn't owe anybody anything. And with politics in Texas being about as crooked as they come, isn't it time to shock people and put in an honest man?

I don't know about "truth", but there he is in his own words. For a politician, that's not the same thing at all, but he just doesn't strike me as a politician. Maybe that's all you need to know. He's not a politician. If you want a politician, it really doesn't matter which of the others you pick.
