"Ballad of Jane" by: LA Guns
"I Wanna Rock" by: Twisted Sister
"Heartbreak Station," "Shelter Me," Don't Know what you got till its gone" all by: Cinderella
"Modern Day Cowboy," "What You Give," "Love Song" all by: Tesla
"Heaven," by: Warrant
"Youth Gone Wild," "18 and Life," "Wasted Time," "I Remember You," all by: Skid Row
"The Zoo" by: Scorpions
"Hell Bent for Leather," "Breaking the Law" by: Judas Priest
"Ace of Spades" by: Motorhead
"Never Say Goodbye," "I'll Be There For You," "Lay Your Hands on Me," "You Give Love a Bad Name," all by: Bon Jovi
I could go on and on. There are too many good songs to name by Poison, Motley Crue and (the David Lee Roth) Van Halen.
The first thing I would do is go out and buy Gun's 'n Roses "Appetite For Destruction." Then, I would buy Van Halen "1984;" Poison's "Open Up and Say Ahh;" Bon Jovi's "Slippery When Wet;" Tesla's "5 Man Acoustic Jam." This will give you a nice start to a respectable 80's rock CD collection. From there, check out some of the songs that I suggested...see what you like and go from there.
Good Luck My Man! I will always take the time to point a good man in the right direction to some great music!
Stay Up PLAYA!
I LOVE ME SOME 80's rock!

Check out soundtracks to movies that are set in the 80's, they'll give you a good mix of bands and you can pick and choose who you like and go from there. Try the soundtracks to Donnie Darko, The Breakfast Club, Boogie Nights, and The Wedding Singer.
