Tonight my best friend is having a party or get together at her home and invited everyone but me. I found out about it from someone else. Is it ok or normal to be upset or a little hurt that I never got invited? This makes me think she doesn't like me as much as I think. Is this thinking right?

I would be rethinking being best friends with this person. If you were having a get together at your house she would be the first person you thought of so if you are truly best friends then the same courtesy should have been extended to you. You should call her and say that you had heard she was having a party and ask her why you were not invited there might possibly be a good explanation for it.

You might as well ask your best friend why she has'nt invited you. If you really are best friends, then you can always ask...what if she thought that she has already invited you? Just some kind of a memory lapse...c'mon, just give her the benefit of the doubt. Straighten things out before you get into some kinda misunderstanding.

Dude, I know man... I was not invited to one of my closest friends bash, and he invited like 100 people; let's just say it took me a long time (years) to forgive him... It's completely normal to be upset; and the thinking is not wrong.

Choices:
1) Plan a lil party of your own, and don't invite her
2) Decide right now "It's o.k. I wasn't invited... maybe they're not all that great after all"
3) Plan a lil party and invite her (even though she punked out on you)

Yes, its normal to feel hurt when u expected something and not get it. so in life, be cool, expect less; no expectation = no disappointments. but i would say, it would be very abnormal to be friends with someone whom wouldnt invite u to her party. maybe she dont consider u a frien d just yet. if i were u, i would ask her about it. bec if u keep it to yourself, you will never understand why she didnt invite u and it might make the frienship even worse.

well maybe she felt she didnt need to invite you formaly or verbally she just expected you to be there. that is if she is your best friend. if not its normal to be mad, upset and jelouse. maybe she isnt really your friend at all. i guess if you go and she asks what your doing there then ya know but if you dont go and she see's you tomarrow and feels the same way you do now because you werent there then you know she is truely your friend either way some one might get hurt.

sure its ok to be jealous its natural to be hurt you felt left out because she's your freind and you got left out of the deal if your worried she doesnt like you as you think then calmly sit her down and talk with her about it if she's truly your friend she will understand and let her know it hurt you that you werent invited remember if shes really your friend she'll understand.

at first be your person individual. a good pal is prepared to %a good acquaintances nostril. in her suggestions u are in her little international of politics and u r wining it and subsequently she is jealous cuz she is familiar with u seem extra perfect and u are prolly a stringer individual than her. so superb element to do if u opt to be superb acquaintances together with her confront her sometime on your person domicile, so u can blow this jealous crap at the back of u 2 and flow on.

You have a right to be upset. It sounds like you and her aren't as close as you think. Good luck.

Unless you could find a very good explanation, find a new best friend. Simple as that.
