My friend named a tree Lucy.

You know I never did that, you're lucky to thought of that. When I was younger of course I would name all my pets funny names(not in purpose of course) Whats the funniest name you guys ever gave to a pet/tree/anything?? Mine was my shaggy white dog I called Brownie(inspired by cake squares)people would correct me "but she's white?" I hated that I had to explain myself always.

I did not name trees when I was little, but I name them now as an adult! :) Not all of them, but the ones that are special to me in some way, such as the oaks that I've raised from seedlings and/or saplings. I've also named some baby palms and a few other trees. It's fun and I feel it gives them more personality!
One thing I seem to recall naming my entire life, is CARS. When I was young, I named my parents' cars. Now that I'm an adult, I've named both of my cars too. :)

Totally. I once named a whole bunch of trees with a friend including Charlie and Cherish. Also Alan and Cleopatra.

Maybe we are weird.....lol ^_^ I used to have this tree out side that was growing, I named it Elizabeth.
