I hope he's not done (I'm a Stars fan!). And I don't think he's Dallas's "answer," but I do think he'll add to the already outstanding team they have. He's already scored one goal, and had an assist, so I hope he'll continue to add to the team.
And, wow, all of y'all are some of the most negative people I've heard. Give the guy a chance....he might just surprise you all, and I hope he does.
GO STARS!!

Lindros was a has-been the moment he stepped into the league. Having your overbearing jerk father be your agent has done he immense harm especially when negoitating in his earlier career. The concussions certainly didn't help but even without those, he's been an injured-plagued player. I'll be surprised if he makes it through most of this season and has anything above 15 goals. I was shocked to learn he was still around. I seriously thought he had retired after the lockout happened. He needs to just go away. He is one of the biggest disappointments of all time.

I live in Dallas and I was confused on why they would get Lindros. He is one concussion away from being a vegetable. Also, if and when Dallas makes it to the playoffs, most likely Lindros will be out with an injury and not able to really contribute.

i'm a fellow Flyers fan. actually, i became in no way a great fan yet i do no longer evaluate him between the main important busts ever the two. there is not any thinking how plenty skills he had whilst he became healthy. IMO, i think of you could factor sturdiness into any communicate which includes the "acceptable" something. Positives: He published extra beneficial than a factor consistent with interest for the time of his first 9 seasons. He became mean, nasty and would desire to do notably much something on the ice whilst he became healthy. Negatives: He in no way as quickly as performed in each interest of a season which consists of the strike shortened seasons of 1992 and 1994. Carl & Bonnie: His mothers and dads in contact themselves with the Flyers administration, which by no ability is this desirable for an grownup, expert athlete. He would desire to no longer stay healthy, frequently because of style of hockey he performed. There are extra positives and negatives. i've got faith he had extra means than many gamers i'd rank above him in the acceptable 50 of all time, i think of that injuries prevented him from accomplishing that means. i can not placed a participant into my acceptable 50 consistent with means.

Eric Lindros is a never was. From his rookie season when he refused to play for Quebec it was apparent he had no heart for the game, only lust for the money. He never was a player with the combination of heart, talent and determination like Gretzky, Lemieux or Yserman.

I'll be shocked if he plays more than 30 games this year.
He's defiantly NOT Dallas' answer. Just an add player who can maybe score 10,15 goals and put up 20 or so assists.

Game for game Lindros has always and continues to provide results, but his fragile and wuss nature makes him fairly useless to any team. One healthy season would likely prove he is far from done, but that seems rather unlikely to happen at this point.
