Depends on what emulator you got, they're all kinda different. The best GBA emulator and the one I'm most familiar with is the Visual Boy Advance or "VBA", pretty easy to find and quick download. If you do just go into the cheat option at the top bar and you'll see an option to input Game shark codes. Now all you need is the code and voila! It should work.
