Ok. Problem, not a big problem but still. My friends want me to go to the club with them. It's a lesbian club. YAY. But I am not that good of a dancer. Actually I stink at dancing. I wanna go so I can meet other girls but I don't want to dance. I just want to sit and talk. Does anyone have any suggestions. I don't want to be sitting alone the whole time or while my friends are dancing.

Get your friends to show you how to dance!

And once you're there, remember, the women dancing are probably either focused on themselves or the girl in front of them, not you.

You don't *have* to dance, but it does help, especially if you don't want to be tempted into drinking too much.

I don't like to dance at clubs, and usually end up sitting by myself and people-watching. However, the few times I've gone dancing it's been easy to hook up on the dance floor. A lot of fun and a boost to the self-esteem, but not the most subtantive start to a relationship. Then again, I have met some nice people by just sitting and talking, and they're mostly lesbians believe it or not (I'm a gay male). I would find a nice, well-lit spot where people hang out, sit near a group, and look for conversations to strike up with people.

When it comes down to it Dancing is about having fun. As long as you don't look like your having a seizure no one will care. It's just about moving with the music. By the way if i go out to a club and i don't want to dance i don't i sit down where i can still see my friends. I go to the bar get a drink talk to the girl behind the bar a bit then i talk to a girl who is leaving the bar at the same time to sit down. If they want to chat the will follow you and you'll have someone brand sparkling new to talk to YAY!! Good Luck darling!!!

Yes thats me! Love the music at the clubs, the people; dont be a dud sitting by yourself. What I do is look around, cuz there's ALOT of people like us that dont know to dance, socialize with them, and who knows they could be the one missing in our lives. (Still searching, by the way) I tried learnig to do the "New" trendy danceing but dont get it. I still do the "Trance" dance, back in the day of the raves. Any newbie will look like a pro, your top half of your body does all the movement sort of pulse your body to the beat, get the glowsticks! Flay your arms around in a trancy state, like you are signaling a plane for landing. Psychedelic.

You don't have to be a good dancer to go to a club. Just go to the dance floor with your friend and mingle. Move side to side....Most people don't really care how you dance because they're all drunk anyways!~_^

Get on the floor and ask someone to show some moves. It's the best to start a conversation or get attention of some girls. They'll definitely be willing to help.
