I don't think so. If Federer is in any tournmanent he plays, Roddick won't win. He's 1-11 against the world #1 and he hasn't found a strategy to beat him. Honestly, I thought he had a good chance at the U.S. Open this year because of his improved game with Connors as his coach. I honestly think his playing style now is even better than how he played as #1. Though with that being said, his playing style does not favor to well agaings Fed. Roddick's lone win agains Fed was 2003 in Toronto, and he won 7-6 in the 3rd set. The only way he'll win a Grand Slam is if Federer isn't playing.

Roddick will win more titles next year, only if Fed isn't playing in those tournaments. He won't get far at the French because clay is his weak surface and Fed will win the rest of the Grand Slams.

It's unlikely, unless Roger Federer gets beaten, or is injured
at the Australian Open, Wimbledon and/or US Open. Andy
Roddick has never gotten very far at the French Open, so
the other three Slams are his best bet. Since Federer is
in his peak, it will take something miraculous for Roddick
to do it. Federer will have to have a flat day, be sick to the
point where it adversely affects his play, or have a serious
injury to the point, where he can't play well enough to win.
Andy Roddick will seriously have to raise the level of his
game to challenge Roger Federer. The biggest threat to
Federer is Rafael Nadal right now, now Roddick.

So many people have so little faith in Andy Roddick. If Andy sticks with Connors, he has a good shot of winning the Austrailian. The ball will move quick, but not so quick that he cannot execute his net game which is they key to him winning a major.

I think that he's in with a good chance if he pushes himself to the llimit! He's after getting much better this year since he got Jimmy Connors as a coach and he has gained a lot of his confidence back!! People keep talking and sayin that he'll never be as good as he was when he was 20 but he's stil very young and can still get much better! Yes I do think that Roddick has a good chance!

I think Roddick has a chance if he raises his game to its peak and if and only if Fed is playing and feeling poorly like when Andy Murray defeated him. Although Roger might not play his best each and every time it still takes all your effort and skill to beat him. If he stays as consistent and focused as he is now I think Roddick's odds to beat Federer is 1000-1

Not with Federer around. But he is getting better with an improved backhand, better returns, and more consistent volleys, so I expect him to win more titles next year.

If something happened to Federer, I would definitely say yes. But since Roger is not injured and still playing I have to say that he won't
