and i also want to know if i have the right to know how much or when my son's father gets paid?? he lives in georgia ...pays childsupport but not always get it cause of him saying they havent worked alot....so im wondering whats the minimum wage and all.....he works w/ his wife's family trucking company as a diesel mechanic well an assistant i guess.....

i know, he called today and i had emailed him about how much and when he gets paid and he wont answer... and i told him its fine i will find out myself ..and he knows that i will get a hold of the attorney general so i can get answers since he wont tell me. or just take him to court again and see what happens.

In Georgia, Minimum wage is the Federal Minimum of 5.15/hr. I suspect he's prob lying to you though, if he's a diesel mechanic he's prob making more. And I believe by law if you are supposed to recieve child support, you have a legal right to know exactly what he's REALLY making. Threaten legal action if he's not honeest with you. You and your kids deserve it.....

Minimum wage is the same in all 50 states. I think it's like $5.50/hour. I don't think you have the right to know when and how much he gets paid, even though he owes you money.

It is $5.15 every where. you do have the right to know when and how often. call your local child support enforcement they can and will help.
