YOu have accidentally plugged the second PC Into the slot meant for the phone or are sharing that extension.

You should get a router between the 1st PC and the Modem for your PC's.

She could in simple terms ought to renowned a thank you to "renew" her immediately (dhcp) assigned IP handle on her laptop, on the grounds that her IP handle could fluctuate between the two modems. If linked to a cable modem, that frequently immediately provides a linked gadget an IP handle. DSL modems tend to be a mix modem/router that handles the PPPoE and immediately provides out a private IP on its LAN edge. yet while she needs to try this immediately for the two, internet seek "twin wan router". the variety of gadget could be set to vehicle load stability by using alternating between the two internet connections and/or immediately fail over from one to the different if one fails.
