Absolutely!! My sister and I both have enometriosis, and hers is much worse than mine - her doctor was seriously looking at putting her on Lupron shots (mimics menopause) or possibly even having to do a hystorectomy (she's 25). She got pregnant - unexpectedly, just got married in March - in May and has had a very healthy pregnancy so far with no problems. In fact, my mom had endometriosis as well - and 2 kids! Actually, when my doctor diagnosed my endometriosis, he told me I had 2 options - get pregnant or have surgery. Of course, I picked surgery!! That was nearly 5 years ago, and in the last few months I've begun having some of the problems again - horrible cramping, spotting, nausea during my period - and I'll probably have to have the surgery again in a couple of years (not ready for kids yet), but pregnancy is actually one of the best things for endometriosis - somehow, a majority of women who have it and then get pregnant never have anymore problems.
Infertility only happens in the most extreme cases and usually, there are other factors than just the endometriosis. When you had the laparoscopy, if there were anything to indicate that the endometriosis was obviously going to cause fertility problems, your doctor would have told you; at least, when I had mine done, my doctor specifically told me that he didn't see anything that would indicate fertility problems. If you're really worried about it, I would suggest talking to your OB-Gyn about it. I can't tell you any of the medical explanations or anything, but even with my family's history with it, we seem to all be doing OK (knock on wood!)!!

I'm sure that I've had my endrometriosis since I was a teenager. I am now 32 with 3 kids. All situations are different, but it very possibly that you can conceive. It may take some planning though. Keep track of your cycle and be sure to mark down your ovulation time. It took me about a year to first become pregnant, but after the first, it happened again with no problem. If you are having trouble don't be afraid to talk with your doctor and ask for advice.

My sister had terrible endometreosis (I hope that counts for me to answer the question). The doctor told her when she was only a few years older than you that if she wanted children, she had to start right away. She had also had surgery and had it come back. Hers was very aggressive.
She was very scared that she would never have kids. She didn't get pregnant very fast, but she did manage to conceive and she has 2 perfect children.
I know she was always scared, because she wanted kids. She told me that if she had it to do over again, she would get a different doctor. Her first one was very negative, and scared her.
I say, you have a great chance!

hi, i know how you feel...im 20 years old and had the surgery about a year ago to remove mine and so far i dont think its back. But i am still on medication for it and dont get my period. I also dont want kids right at the moment but will want to in the future and hope that i will be able to. Please know that you arnt alone. My cousin also had it and was told she would never have kids naturally...she had to have IVF for her first child and then fell NATURALLY to her second...(both beautifull healthy boys!) so there is hope! When i had my surgery the doctor said that at the time my tubes were still clear so i would be able to have kids now but if i have problems in the future to go back and disscuss other options. Hope this helped! :) good luck!!

Endometriosis is an often painful condition in which the endometrial tissues appear in various locations in the pelvic cavity outside of the uterus. I had it. I just had terrible dysmenorrhea with every menstrual periods. However, I was able to have kids. D and C usually help, to clean up the inside of the uterus.
