When you are first shaping your eyebrows, draw an imaginary line from to corner of your mouth the the corner of your eye (on the same side). That's the end of your eyebrows.
Draw an imaginary line from the corner of your mouth against the side of your nostril (on the same side), that's the beginning.
Your eyebrow likely has a natural arch, so just want to kind of shape around that. Keep the arch over the center of your eye, if possible.
Other than this, it's just a matter of plucking the stray hairs and shaping the eyebrow. Always pluck in the direction the hair grows. If you soak a washcloth in hot water and lay that over your eyebrows for a few minutes, the heat will open your pores, and the hairs will come out easier, as well.
Me personally, I wax mine.

If you are a first time tweezer, I wouldn't reccomend doing anything too dramatic. Just use tweezers to pluck the stray hairs around your eyebrows, and have them professionally waxed if you want the shape changed.

take some tweezres that are flat on the tips, grab a few hairs at a time and start pluckin. pull in the direction they are growin out, try it in the shower (hurts less) and pluck hairs on the underside and tips of the eyelashes. the top of the eyelashes have the natural shape you wanna keep. practice makes perfect. the more hairs you pluck at once the less pain, the faster you pull the less pain, and always pull in the direction of the growth. good luck!

Well-groomed brows can help your eyes look larger as well as more expressive.
The most common way to give shape to your brows is to pluck them with a good set of tweezers. There are three types:
1. Tweezers with thin tips are great for getting a good hold on small fine ingrown hair to pluck them.
2. Tweezers with slanted tips give you more control and are good for novices.
3. Tweezers with square tips are quite useful when it comes to pluck off coarse thick hairs or more than one hair at a time.
How to Tweeze:
Always pluck your eyebrows before bedtime to allow the redness to disappear overnight, but this isn't gospel, I pluck mine whenever I like, but then again I've been plucking for a very long while and don't really get redness anymore.
Keep a hot washcloth over your face for some time before tweezing as it loosens up hair follicles and make plucking hairs easier and less painful, alternatively you can pluch straight after a hot shower.
Calculate the length and arch of the eyebrows as state in the. Hold a pencil vertically along the side of the nose. Eyebrow should start at outside edge if pencil. Then Hold pencil at angle from side of nose up to the outside corner of eye and thats where your brow should end.
Smoothen up brows with a little moisturizer as it helps hair to slide out more easily.
Brush up the brows to define the natural arch and draw the desired shape using a soft eye shadow pencil or concealer before you start plucking.
Tweeze under the brows first and pull hair in the direction of the growth.
Comb brows upwards with an eyelash comb and if they are excessively long, trim the hairs extending beyond the natural brow bone.
Work from the outside first and start with taking a few hair from one brow and then from the other, trying to keep them symmetrical. (Remember though the average person hasn't got a 100% symmetrical face, so just get them as even as you can)
Only pluck one hair at a time and make sure that you pull gently and smoothly, making sure not to yank. Remember that it is better to tweeze too little than too much.
After plucking your brows, it is often relaxing to soothe the area with cool and wet tea bags, toner, whitch hazel or aloe vera gel.
Remember you should always tweeze at least thirty minutes before you start applying make-up.
Once you've mastered the art of tweezing you should develop the habit of checking your brows periodically in order to maintain the perfect shape of your brows. You should tweeze few hairs from one brow and then from the other so that they remain symmetrical.
Hey voila beautiful eyebrows!
When you put your make-up on the best thing I find to keep your brows looking nicely grromed isclear mascara, the wand brushes then in to a nice shape and the clear mascar keep them in place.
Hope this helps

The best thing to do is to have them waxed and shaped at a salon. Then when they start to grow back wait and tweeze them after you wash your face or get out of the shower. The water makes it so much easier to pluck them.

wash your face with warm water. or put a warm washcloth over your eyebrows for a min. it helps open your pores which makes the hair come out easier. start from the bottom and pull our any stray hairs...I would first suggest going to a professional first and then maintain.

Get them waxed the first time and then just maintain what they did when they start growing back in.
They'll help you find the best shape for your eye, and a thickness that suits you.
