I'm a (female) condo owner and my garage is built within a 30 unit structure of stalls. There was a fire that destroyed 11 of them and the fire stopped before my garage. Unfortunately, the smoke got in and my garage unit is filthy. When the reconstruction is complete I want to paint it from top to bottom but not sure what to do as far as cleaning/ painting the concrete floor. It is as simple as slapping a coat of grat paint over it? Its just a garage floor and I'm just thinking about trying to match it close as possable to what it once was.

You might try just pressure washing it first. A good idea anyway before you paint after smoke damage. If it is a concrete floor you can use a good deck paint.
