1805 or 1806. The only two earlier US quarters minted, 1796 and 1804 are worth thousands of dollars. I believe the oldest one I own is an 1876.

I have a 1961 silver quarter. My mom has one older but I can't remember what year. If I find out, I'll edit my message.

a 1942 quarter. it is well worn out. otherwise i haven't seen any dated earlier than 1965.

i've never seen one before the year 1960,and i always check out my change when i get it kinda of a habbit and hooby.im glad u asked cause i never thought of it til now!
