Anaerobic, because it's just fermentation =) requires no oxygen. We actually just did a lab on this - what happens is that it's the cell's "emergency process", and gives off both Co2 and alchol in plants, and latic acid in animals. Same thing if you leave apple cider/juice out in the sun for a week - it'll ferment and become a sort of moonshine ^_^ (Note, for those who are unfamilar with the term "moonshine" it's a rough, unrefined and illegal type of alchol, usually homebrewed)

Wow. I hadn't heard that. we've been giving my 2 365 days previous daughter "bubble baths" via squirting somewhat of her Aveeno shampoo/physique wash interior the tub on an analogous time as filling up for a pair of 365 days now. No issues so far.
