lots of fun stuff to do out there. personally, i could do just about anything. riding horses, running, going to the gym (aka working out), playing musical instruments (pick one that interests you, and get lessons, or teach yourself with a diy book), photography, cooking, baking, babysitting the neighborhood kids, videogames, watching tv...the list could go on and on. i dont reccomend anything sedintary (videogames or tv) because once you get into that rut, its a hard habit to break. its awesome every once in a while, a good treat to watch tv or game it up, but every day...its just not healthy. it comes with risks...trust me. good luck in finding something that interests you! i hope these tips gave you an idea to get started with.

There is no such thing as one ultimate hobby for everyone. For example, you can't be a good stamp collector if it does not interest you. Your ultimate hobby should come from whatever you are interested in. Think about it, and then develop your own ultimate hobby or hobbies from there.

If money is no object I would suggest high end diamonds, if money is tight buy a bag of 5000 wheat cents seperate by year and mint mark. Sell on ebay, start over again keeping the best of the best for yourself. I suggest doing your homework, learn grading and how to differentiate between saleable and valuable.

Whatever you enjoy doing is what you should make as your hobby. Try one thing and if you don't get joy from it try something else. Good luck and have fun doing whatever you decide to do.

Wow... I don't have an ULTIMATE hobby... but I have three that I like to spread my already sparse spare-time to... (do you like all of my alliteration there?) I play the guitar... scrapbook...and am on a quest for knowledge (sarcasm...noted, please.)
I've been playing guitar for almost 8 years now off and on... I play piano as well, but it is in my garage right now, as I have no where to put it in my house!!! I love playing, singing and listening to music, but I find playing an instrument so relaxing and therepeutic. I have a handful of songs I love to play and learn a new one here and there. It's something that I do for myself and I enjoy very much!
I'm a scrapbooking addict!!! I love art, but totally blow the big one when it comes to drawing. I found scrapbooking in high school, gave it a try and say, no thanks. Now that I have kids and I'm a stay at home mom, my life revolves around the cute things they do day in and out. I have HUNDREDS of pictures and hate the thought of them sitting in boxes or now, on my hard drive! I know it may seem like a "girl" thing, but I have seen many men (and straight ones, at that) that scrapbook, too... they might just be doing it for the women... but hey, who cares? Scrapbooking is a way for me to be visually creative and satisfy my ADD at the same time. There are so many things to think about and so many options when it comes to papers, colors and embellishing, the options are endless!
As for my "Quest for Knowledge," I mean I love watching the History Channel and Discovery late at night and learn about history and how things work. (I love to read, but am a very picky reader.) I'm a die-hard physics fan at heart, but don't have the intelligence to comprehend half of it. I love to research different religions and cultures on line... my newest venture on the net is child prodigies. I came across this one girl when she was four years old told her mom one day over breakfast that she saw God last night and he took her to heaven and told her lots of things. Now, she is the only binary child prodigy known to man. Binary, meaning she is deemed "prodigy" in two categories... poetry and art. She has these amazing portraits with associative poetry that you would NEVER in a million years think came out of a four to, now eleven year old girl. Her web site is EXTREMELY addictive, beware. If anything, I suggest you go to her Gallery and click on a few of the thumbnails, her art is stunning.

Unfortunately, most of my hobbies revolve around home due to the fact I'm a stay-at-home mom, but my best word of advice is do something you have always wanted to do and will never regret doing!

If you like anime, you can make Anime Music Videos. There's also of course things like video games and television (obviously). There's also Dungeons & Dragons, Magic the Gathering, reading, musical instruments, sports, etc... The list goes on and on.

Buying and selling antiques. You could potentially make millions from it, literally!
The same could be said of buying and selling real estate.
