No. Apparently there was a small earthquake someplace and a whole lot of peple began peeing in their pants like there was no tomorrow. Remember that there are a number of major fault lines that run along the edge of the Pacific basin all up and down Southeast Asia, Japan, and China. There are earthquakes all the time. Now everytime there is an earthquake a half billion people will need to change their underwear.

No, with all of the sophisticated technology that we have now, and with the North Koreans telling us approximately what time they set one of at, this was no earthquake. Also, earthquakes from what I understand occur in a wider pattern than a single explosion. We also have enough data from the 50's and 60's when under ground testing of nuclear bombs occurred more often. Plus, the whole world would not be as concerned as it is if it was only an earthquake.

Doubtful. The CIA gives three possibilities:
1. Successful nuclear test that was very far underground and therefore muffled.
2. Failed nuclear test that resulted in a huge explosion.
3. Or a fake nuclear test done with large amounts of conventional explosives.
They list #2 as the most likely scenario.

Nope. Occurred at ground level, earthquakes that are natural occur below the surface, usually at least a kilometer, and most frequently at 13 kilometers or more. Plus they showed a video of the blast.
