First it isn't tacky, I had 8 in my wedding and all but 1 was married instead we refered to them as matrons of honor. Second it doesn't matter what others think anyway this is your day and you can do whatever you want to make it the way you want it. When my cousin got married he had his mother stand up as his best man because that is what he wanted and she was the most important person in his life other than the one he was marrying. You do what makes you happy and have a great wedding day!

wedding ceremony registries are socially customary. this is tremendously plenty all that concerns to maximum. it truly is a thank you to replace and get carry of presents that eliminates any concept from the technique. The customer would not desire to shop around or be ingenious and the recipient gets what they desire out of the substitute. in my view, i think of registries are horribly cheesy and could desire to work out weddings and different social activities develop into much less appropriate to the presents. it seems so gauche to entice up a itemizing of issues you like. ok, whether you somewhat desire them, it truly isn't any one's accountability to grant your place. present registries made extra experience contained in the previous while couples certainly set up a house on the beginning up of their marriage yet this isn't the case right this moment. i think of you in all risk have been given a complicated time the 1st time around given which you have been so youthful and in line with risk because of the fact the relationship develop into needless to say doomed from the beginning up (needless to say, given which you have been remarried in basic terms 5 years later). Now we are residing contained in the age of entitlement, so i'm no longer stunned in any respect that your friends think of registries are a given....and for a 2d time bride. it could be beside the point which you will sign up.

Tacky is just an oppinion and the only oppinion that should matter is yours and his,if you want them to play that part in your wedding and you feel that they have earned the roll, why would it be tacky? Tacky would be choosing others that haven't earned that place. Remember this is my oppinion and it really shouldn't affect what you feel is right.

Of course. I attended a wedding over the summer that had two bridesmaids that were married. One had even had children.

Absolutley. I think theya re then called matrons of honor. You should pick the people you want to be in your wedding regardless if they are married, sinlge, etc!

no it's not tacky. it doesn't matter if the bridesmaids are married or not, if the maid of honor is married, she is now officially the matron of honor.

Traditionally, you should only have one bridesmaid who is married. She isn't called a bridesmaid, she's called a "Matron of Honour". But these days, you don't have to stick with tradition, I'd say anything goes.

You can ABSOLTELY have bridesmaids that are married! I think the whole notion that bridesmaids are "supposed" to be single was thrown out the window decades ago. :)
